Martin Luther King, Jr Day of Service
January 20, 2014 marks the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. This milestone is a perfect opportunity for us to honor Dr. King’s legacy of service through service. The MLK Day of Service empowers individuals, strengthens communities, bridges barriers, creates solutions to social problems, and moves us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community. Join Pebble Tossers Volunteers as we honor Dr. King by cleaning up a section of the Atlanta BeltLine.
Monday, January 20, 2014 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Pebble Tossers will be picking up trash/litter and removing invasive plants along the Southwest section of the Atlanta BeltLine, at the entrance to corridor located on Allene Ave. For mapping/navigation purposes the closest physical address is 1052 Allene Ave SW, Atlanta 30310. This is a residential area so parking may be limited; carpooling is suggested if possible.
